Our team brings specialist expertise in areas that support individuals through all stages of life. We offer advanced care in Sacro Occipital technique, pregnancy, and paediatrics – providing gentle and effective support for babies, children, and expectant mothers. Our practitioners also work with sports injuries, people with learning disabilities and behavioural challenges, creating a compassionate and calming environment where each person is met with tailored, thoughtful care.
Giles Courtis
Founding Chiropractor and Principal Owner of Apthorp.
DC, FRCC, DICS (Cranio)
Giles Courtis is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and has served on the faculty of Craniopathy as the Dean of Academic affairs. He was one of the first chiropractors registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and the Sacro Occipital Technique Organisation of Europe.
Giles graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1985. He qualified in the post graduate technique of Cranial Chiropractic in the Autumn of 1991. He has lectured to the profession on cranial and Pediatric chiropractic and served on the board of SOTO Europe since its inception in 1986 and was the President of the board from 1995 to 2002.
He is a member of the board of Education for SOTO Europe and and now lectures on SOT and Craniopathy which includes the study of Tempero Mandibular Joint disorders(TMJ) and Sacro Occipital Technique to the profession in Europe and abroad.
Holly Duddridge
A graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. M.Chiro, Msc
Holly graduated as a chiropractor from the Welsh institute of chiropractic, at the University of South Wales in September 2022. Holly achieved a Distinction (first class honours) and special awards in academic excellence in her Master of Chiropractic degree.
Holly has since been practising at the Brecon Chiropractic Centre and at Apthorp Centre (Weston Chiropractic Centre) since September 2022.
She is trained in the diversified technique, as well as undertaking Sacro Occipital Technique.
Holly’s interest in chiropractic, is derived from sustaining previous injuries from her sporting days, when she participated in basketball and netball. The experience of chiropractic care inspired her to further her studies into the profession which helped her rehabilitative road to recovery.
George Kohn
A graduate of the AECC University College in Bournemouth. DC. M.Chiro
George holds a Master’s degree in Chiropractic and has a particular interest in treating conditions affecting the shoulder, hip, and lower back. He is a registered member of the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association.
George’s journey into chiropractic care was inspired by a lifelong fascination with human anatomy and personal experiences as an athlete. Growing up competing in football and gymnastics, he became acutely aware of the physical demands sports place on the body. Chiropractic care played a crucial role in helping George overcome injuries and achieve athletic goals- an experience that ultimately fuelled a desire to help others in the same way.
He is trained in the Diversified Technique and also incorporates Sacro Occipital Technique into his practice, ensuring a comprehensive and adaptable approach to musculoskeletal care.
