Personal Training - Lynnsey Rowan
-
With a lifelong passion for dance, Lynnsey was fortunate to enjoy a professional career that combined performance with international travel. When the time came to transition from the stage, she had already set her sights on a new path—sharing her love of movement through the fitness industry.
Inspired by the group exercise classes she regularly attended at her local gym while working abroad, she trained as an Exercise to Music instructor, laying the foundation for a new chapter in fitness education.
In January 2003, she relocated from her hometown in Lancashire to the City of Bath, where she began teaching classic Aerobics and Body Conditioning classes. Her desire to further support her clients’ wellbeing soon led her to pursue qualifications in Personal Training.
Over the years, she has built an impressive portfolio of experience and certifications in both group studio instruction and one-to-one personal training. Most recently, she has specialised in Mat Pilates, including targeted training in Pilates for Orthopedic Conditions and Pre/Post Natal Pilates. These additional qualifications have deepened her understanding of the body and enabled her to support clients with a wide range of injuries, conditions, and postural challenges.

Dr Katie Howells
-
Dr Katie Howells BSc (Hons), DPsychol
Chartered Clinical PsychologistDr Katie Howells is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of experience working both in the UK and internationally. She has worked across private practice and various organisations, and continues to balance her private work with a role in the NHS. Dr Howells is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Her clinical work supports individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, learning, and relationship challenges that impact mental health and wellbeing. Drawing on an integrative approach, her practice incorporates elements from Systemic Family Therapy, Positive Behavioural Support, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. At the heart of her work is a strong influence from Narrative Therapy, which focuses on people’s values and the personal meanings they attach to their life experiences.
Dr Howells has developed particular clinical interests in women’s emotional health and in supporting families with children who have autism, learning difficulties, or developmental disabilities. Her decade of experience in Singapore with a diverse expatriate population has further enriched her ability to work cross-culturally, offering sensitive and adaptable support to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
Central to her practice is the creation of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, where individuals feel able to explore difficult emotions and experiences. Dr Howells believes that therapy becomes most valuable when it helps people reconnect with what matters most to them—whether that’s how they want to feel, what they want to do, or who they want to be.
