I help women to confidently manage their health during the perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause, so they can feel great and enjoy their busy lives.
The hormone changes that start in our late 30’s/early 40’s that signify the menopause transition can come with uncomfortable symptoms and health issues. It’s a time when our bodies need more support and attention if we are to feel and look our best, and if we’re to enjoy good health as we enter midlife.
If you are struggling with issues such as unwanted weight gain, low energy, mood swings, digestive discomfort, hot flushes, joint and muscular aches, I can help you optimise your nutrition and health, whether you are taking HRT or not.
As a BANT and CNHC Registered Nutritional Therapist and Certified Health Coach, I have been supporting women through this transition for over a decade and I can help in a number of ways:
1. I can guide you to make changes to your diet and lifestyle that help you reach your personal health goals. These may be weight loss, improved energy, reducing symptoms of menopause or tackling uncomfortable digestive symptoms.
2. I can help you to optimise your diet and lifestyle to support diagnosed health conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Underactive Thyroid, Irritable Bowel Syndrome or more complex autoimmune conditions.
3. I can help you identify patterns and habits that are holding you back from reaching your health goals, and coach you to prioritise your health. I help you create healthy habits and boundaries around food and enjoy it at the same time.
I follow the functional medicine approach which involves:
a) Identifying your underlying health imbalances based on a thorough case history and analysis
b) Where indicated, I can recommend functional laboratory testing such as blood, stool, urine, breath or saliva testing
c) I may also recommend targeted nutritional supplements where needed
d) Recommendations are completely personalised to you
My approach is to take the overwhelm and confusion out of reaching good health during the menopause transition.
My aim is to make this experience simple for you as well as effective, enjoyable and interesting!
If you need help, the first step is to arrange a no-obligation free call, using any of the contacts above, where we can talk through your challenges and your goals. Then if I feel I can help, I will explain how we might work together, whether that’s staring with a 3-consultation package, a Menopause MOT, or whether you might need a higher level of support in my 12-week Vibrant Health Package.
